In the Disneylands, guests with corrupted enough desires form their own unique "Kingdom", which is modeled after their negative view of the world, along with a Disney Villain acting as a "Ruler" of the Kingdom possessing a "Treasure" symbolic of the guests desires that connects a Shadow version of themselves with the Ruler who commands a personal army of Shadows. Unknown to the workers and guests at the park, an unforeseen event results in the creation of the Disneylands, a magical realm (similar to the Metaverse in Persona 5 and the Midnight Channel in Persona 4) that acts as a vocal point for the Shadows (physical manifestations of the subconscious twisted desires of humans) of guest visiting the park, along with Disney characters that appeared in the real world as people dressed as costumes, pins, and merchandise. Unlike past Persona titles, which were set in Japan, Persona & Disney is set in a modern-day recreation of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, more specifically the Magic Kingdom section of the park, with six lands (Main Street, U.S.A., Froniterland, Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Adventureland) that embody the park. Persona & Disney is set in the Persona universe, set during summer in the year 20XX and revolving around a group of elementary school-age children that can harness Personas, physical manifestations of their inner psyche. Persona & Disney: The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom It is a spin-off of the Persona series (itself a spin-off of the Megami Tensei franchise), and a crossover with multiple Disney franchises including The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, Lilo & Stitch, Fantasia, Disney Princess, Big Hero 6, Hercules, The Sword in the Stone, Lady and the Tramp, DuckTales and The Emperor's New Groove.

It'll be released for the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch worldwide at 2022. Persona & Disney: The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an upcoming American-Japanese 2022 role-playing video game adaptation of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom attraction at Walt Disney World developed by Atlus.
