American will seamlessly transfer customers’ checked bags between Landline’s vehicles and American’s flight network. When they’re ready to return home, they’ll board a Landline vehicle in PHL and arrive at their local airport. Upon arrival in PHL, they’ll deboard airside, enter the terminal and proceed directly to their connecting flight. Customers begin their trip at their local airport in ABE or ACY, check in with American, and clear security* just as they would for a flight, but board a Landline vehicle instead of an aircraft. Traveling on Landline is not only a convenient way to start and end a journey, it’s a time-saver, too. Starting June 3, Landline will connect customers in Allentown/Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (ABE), and Atlantic City, New Jersey (ACY), to the carrier’s Philadelphia (PHL) hub with its state-of-the-art vehicles.
